Riding the rough and smooth

« on: March 11, 2014, 02:31:42 PM »

After all the rain the forest is now drying out and the local ranger Dan is checking the trails today.
I think some will be open very soon. A lot of work is in progress putting in drainage and shoring up trails.

A new mountain bike hire place is opening as Wellington Trek are throwing the towel in.

Crowthorne has been riding well but there are a lot of fallen trees needing changed routing in places. I have yet to check out Borossa and Penny Hill Park.

I will be helping out this Thursday building a new training area for improvers at Swinley away from the busy trails.

The Trails will be open again this weekend following construction work after the rain damage over the Winter.
