On Tuesday Paul H. said he intended to do a ride of about 60 miles this Sunday. However the weather forecast (on Saturday morning, for Sunday) could hardly be worse - continuous heavy rain and 40mph north east wind.

Forecasts can be wrong. I shall prepare my kit and set my alarm as usual, but if the weather is as bad as the prediction I'm not going to waste a car journey to Staines.
