[Brentus]

I am doing this Sportive on 4th July 2010, If anyone is interested.
It does however clash with the Hounslow 100 in case you were marshalling or riding.

100 miles, rolling flat countryside, fine weather with strong westerly winds.
Started with a small group established after less than a mile, then we lost
some people with a puncture almost right away.
Three of us plowed on to the feed stop at 25 miles, just after which we were
overtaken by a steam train of very powerfull riders, we quickly latched on and
were soon doing 25-28 mph.
Just short of 60 miles in, I was unable to stay with them after the pack was further
boosted by another team.  I picked up another rider and we worked together to feed at 75 miles
Here the big train had brocken up.  We picked up more riders to keep the pace up untill I had to
get off the gas with cramp.   Finished 31st overall 2nd in supervet cat in 5.19.14  Av 18.8 mph
for Bronze award.   Full report to follow for the mag.
